About The JobWe are seeking an exceptional leader to spearhead our R&D initiatives in the region, driving innovation and growth through strategic product development.
This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on our business, working closely with cross-functional teams to bring new ideas to life and exceed customer expectations.
Responsibilities- Lead R&D projects for product development, focusing on innovation, renovation, and productivity across the region.
- Develop and implement management plans for the R&D team, ensuring their growth and success.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing/Operations to establish standards and products that meet our quality and safety standards.
- Interface with Marketing, Commercial, and Procurement teams to define and approve our company strategy.
- Manage projects related to improving product performance and value engineering, adhering to Mexican legislation and company guidelines.
- Participate in influencing the Supplier Homologation agenda and VE through technical forums.
- Prospect for future R&D opportunities with suppliers and KHC technology teams, shaping our long-term strategy.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A complete Food Engineer graduation or similar (Chemical Engineering), with a Master's degree desirable.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in product and process management, with a strong background in Latam countries.
- Fluent English (written and spoken).
- Experience in the consumer goods industry.
- Management skills, including people management and cross-functional team leadership.
- Hands-on attitude and strong technical expertise in food science, food engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address technical challenges and optimize product formulations.
- Excellent project management skills to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and deliver projects on schedule.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with teams across the organization.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and precision.
