Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Deere. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for providing superior technical support on CNC machines and assisting the maintenance engineers team with controls, communication, electrical, electronic, and instrumentation.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide technical support on CNC machines, including Fanuc and Siemens
- Assist the maintenance engineers team with controls, communication, electrical, electronic, and instrumentation
- Specialize in equipment failures and execute projects for new equipment installation and current equipment improvement within budget
- Generate and update preventive maintenance and OPM
- Review equipment specifications, update documentation, and procure standardization
- Manage spare parts for equipment
- Generate and execute CI Agile projects
- Coordinate technical trainings for the maintenance team
- Participate and apply safe, environmental, and ergonomic programs
Requirements
- Superior skills on CNC Fanuc and Siemens
- Superior knowledge on controls (programming, communication, electrical, electronic, and instrumentation)
- Superior knowledge on PLC Allen-Bradley (hardware and programming), Ethernet architecture and configuration, data acquisition systems, automatic position control
- Superior response to critical down situations affecting production, providing troubleshooting and maintenance of equipment
- Knowledge on engineering (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, controls, power systems, etc.)
- Knowledge on regulations and objectives related to safety, quality, and environment
- Knowledge on subcontracting, indirect materials, and purchasing process
- Knowledge on predictive tools (thermographic, vibrations, ultrasound, etc.)
- Knowledge on quality standards. Six sigma, Root cause analysis
- Knowledge on computer and software skills (CAD, engineers tools, SAP)
What Makes You Stand Out
- Experience on Autonomous maintenance, TPM, and 5S
- Skill in using computer-aided design and/or engineering tools (Autocad, Solidworks, etc.)
- Knowledge of Safety standards (JDHS, OSHA, etc.) and its management tools (Lockout, Medgate, Near Miss, ergonomic, etc.)
- Knowledge of industry 4.0 strategies (Connectivity, Data Base, Programming language)
- Knowledge of product, process, and facilities design and facilities engineering
- General knowledge on machining manufacturing process
Education
- Engineer bachelor's degree on areas of electronics, mechatronics, instrumentation
- 80% English level (speak, read, and write)
