About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Business Intelligence Engineer to join our team at Amazon. As a Business Intelligence Engineer, you will play a critical role in evolving our logistics network into the network we need tomorrow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and create data pipelines, including harmonization of different data sources, using SQL and other scripting languages.
  • Develop automations to send push out information of alerts, business insights, etc.
  • Manage projects and stakeholders, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality results.
  • Write high-quality SQL code to retrieve and analyze data from database tables, and learn and understand a broad range of Amazon's data resources and know how, when, and which to use.
  • Develop queries and visualizations for ad-hoc requests and projects, as well as ongoing reporting.

Requirements

  • Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling.
  • Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets.
  • Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in sciences, engineering, finance or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of experience in business intelligence or related role.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English (B2+).
  • 2+ years of experience with AWS or similar.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working with supply chain or logistics data.
  • Experience applying optimization models.
  • AWS Certification.
