A Senior Java Software Developer should also have an appetite for learning new technologies with the goal of applying them to Carrier Global Corporation's product offerings and instructing others about their use and benefits.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop software solutions using Agile methodologies and approaches that satisfy user stories/requirements.
- Participate in project planning by investigating solutions to problems and providing the best estimates.

- Aid sustaining efforts by providing product knowledge and consultation.
Requirements
BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field required.
Experience
- 5+ years of applicable software development experience.
- Expertise in Java programming.
- Proficiency in Test-Driven Development (TDD).
- Experience with unit and functional testing.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, Angular, Ajax, JSP, Java servlets, and other web-based technologies.
- Experience with Gradle.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
