Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering Order to Cash services, mainly around collections with customers, and supporting general Working Capital and Accounts Receivable management.

  • Carrying out routine collection of overdue receivables and supporting in handling escalated collection in cooperation with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Supporting the carrying out of customer risk assessment in close cooperation with UPM's Credit Risk Management Team in Helsinki, Finland.
  • Supporting incoming payment allocation and ensuring clean balances in Accounts Receivable.
  • Learning our systems and becoming a key user providing invoicing support, troubleshooting, and error management for Billing.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or professional qualification in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
  • Familiarity with Latin American tax regulations, specifically Argentina, Chile, and Mexico.
  • 5+ years collections experience and 2-3 years experience with business-to-business credit.
  • Excellent communication skills with high English proficiency and the ability to discuss collection topics with customers while maintaining a professional attitude.
  • Real team player with the ability to work with various stakeholder groups and persons from across the world.
  • Solution-oriented analytical thinker with good self-leadership skills and the ability to prioritize and organize tasks according to deadlines and urgency independently.
  • High personal and professional integrity.
