Job Overview

The Engineering Center Americas has been established to enhance engineering capabilities across North America and Latin America. Our mission is to support country organizations in their daily operations of designing innovative formwork systems and solutions. We are currently expanding our center to recruit and train aspiring technicians who are eager for an international career and open to relocation following the completion of our trainee program.

We present an exciting opportunity for motivated and ambitious technicians currently pursuing their studies, who possess a positive outlook and excellent interpersonal skills, to participate in our Project Trainee Program.

As a Trainee, you will undergo comprehensive technical training and receive personalized coaching to equip you for a successful career as a Project Technician within our operations in the US and Canada.

The trainee program will be conducted in Mexico City, which serves as the hub for our Recruiting and Training Center. Upon successful completion of an extensive training program focused on the design of Doka Formwork Systems (with an estimated duration of 1.5 years, relocation to a new workplace may vary due to various factors such as performance or visa processing), you will transition to a designated location based on strategic requirements. We will coordinate your relocation to either the USA or Canada. Once you arrive at your new location, you will commence your role as a Project Technician.

As a Trainee, your eagerness to learn and grow is crucial. You will report to your designated Lead Trainer at the Recruiting & Training Center.

Qualifications

- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in AutoCAD 2D/3D; familiarity with REVIT/TEKLA is advantageous.

- Experience in 3D Modeling (BIM).

- Proficient in standard MS Office applications.

- Strong communication skills in both Spanish and English.

Job Profile

Educational Background

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Architecture, either recently graduated or in the final semester.
