Job Summary

The Maintenance Supervisor role at ZF Group is a key position responsible for the efficient and effective administration of maintenance activities within the production facility. This includes scheduling, compliance, and follow-up of maintenance tasks, as well as responding to equipment malfunctions that may impact customer production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies for preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime and optimize production.
  • Implement engineering changes in production lines based on customer and plant requirements.
  • Lead continuous improvement and savings projects to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Plan and control critical equipment and tools, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
  • Participate in estimating and arranging new business opportunities.
  • Plan and install new equipment to support production growth and efficiency.
  • Provide process engineering and ergonomics support to improve workspace efficiency and operator safety.
  • Conduct performance and time evaluations to optimize team productivity.
  • Troubleshoot and implement corrective actions to resolve equipment issues.
  • Assist in maintaining plant certifications, including IATF and ISO.
  • Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Manage vendor and contractor relationships to ensure timely and cost-effective maintenance services.
  • Update engineering documentation to reflect changes and improvements.
  • Ensure execution of TPM, 5S audits, LPA's audits, and BBS Observations to maintain a high level of operational excellence.

    Requirements

    • Capable of reading manuals in English.
    • Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
    • 2 years of experience in a supervisory role, managing technicians.
    • Advanced programming skills in Siemens PLC, with 2 years of experience.
    • Fanuc Robot Handling experience, preferably 1 year.
    • 2 years of experience with mechanical and electrical elements.
    • ISO/IATF: Quality Systems experience, preferably 2 years.
    • TPM experience, preferably 1 year.
    • Torque of controlled tooling experience, preferably 1 year.
    • Standardized work and cycle time recording knowledge.
    • Infrastructure maintenance experience, preferably 2 years.
    • SAP Intermediate management skills.
