We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Planning Supervisor to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining production cells and molding machines, ensuring timely delivery of products to our distribution center, and reducing backorders.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize resource utilization.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to improve scheduling visibility and drive business growth.
- Lead capacity planning efforts to ensure adequate equipment and shift capacity for rolling 12-18 months.
- Analyze demand patterns and work with demand planning to achieve a smooth production plan.
- Implement level loading of production and inventory alignment to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
- Develop and maintain a feasible production schedule, including capacity changeovers, shift models, and production setup.
- Manage daily alignment with manufacturing and deviation management to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Support weekly ramp-up and ramp-down planning to meet customer service levels.
