The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
Job DescriptionThis is a full-time position (40 hours per week) serving at either Ramboll's Monterrey Nuevo Leon or Mexico City offices. As our new Senior Lead Consultant, we are looking for someone with 5-8 years of relevant work experience specifically in conducting health and safety and industrial hygiene consulting or support services; environmental regulatory compliance experience (related to industrial and commercial facilities preferred) and due diligence assessments (e.g., Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, EHS environmental compliance reviews and audits, desktop due diligence reviews) is preferable.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Auditing health and safety and industrial hygiene regulatory and corporate requirements for an assortment of industrial operations.
- Completing limited health and safety and environmental compliance reviews of industrial sites and providing regulatory support to clients.
- Completing environmental site assessments of commercial and industrial sites.
- Conducting due diligence reviews of multi-site portfolios for attorneys, lenders, developers, and industrial clients.
- Preparing technical reports that effectively communicate site findings.
- Formulating conclusions and opinions and communicating with clients.
- Traveling to industrial and commercial facilities for site visits (typically one day in duration), including both local and non-local travel.
- Supporting multiple projects and meeting high quality standards.
- Supporting client EHS permitting activities.
- Completing environmental and social due diligence services for international financing of large infrastructure projects.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A minimum of a BA or BS in Geology, Engineering (Civil, Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical, Civil or Geologic Engineering), H&S, Environmental Science or Environmentally-Related Field from an accredited institution and have a minimum of 5-8 years of experience in H&S matters.
- An understanding of the Phase I ESA requirements and the due diligence process.
- Possess knowledge of multi-media environmental compliance topics and general understanding of Mexican federal and state regulations.
- Willingness/ability to travel up to 40% of the time on average during the year and possess a valid driver's license.
