The Role:

We're seeking an experienced Sr Unity Developer to join our team. As a key member, you'll work closely with our product managers, designers, and artists to create engaging and high-quality content for our subscription apps.

Responsibilities:

  1. Profile Preselection: Our Talent Acquisition team will review your profile to ensure it aligns with our requirements and values.
  2. Talent Acquisition Interview: Selected candidates will undergo an initial interview to discuss their experience, skills, and fit for the role.
  3. Online Test: Qualified candidates will be invited to complete an online assessment to demonstrate their abilities.
  4. Technical Interview: Finalists will participate in a technical interview to assess their proficiency and compatibility with our team.

The Quest:

  1. Play a senior role on the team, coaching other developers and working closely with the product manager and the rest of the team to meet ambitious milestones.
  2. Research and design what is possible and figure out how to actually build it.
  3. This is not a gameplay programmer role, so your focus will be on non-gameplay features.
  4. Work on all things related to our IAP subscription system.
  5. Create tools that help the team stay productive.
  6. Support app releases, many of them, across multiple platforms, handling all the little details that go into making a successful release.

The Skills:

  1. 8+ years of professional software development experience.
  2. Strong OOP skills and proficiency with C#.
  3. Deep understanding of how to use Unity to create cross-platform mobile apps.
  4. Past experience leading projects and enjoying coaching other developers.
  5. Experience or an interest in writing native plug-ins for iOS or Android.
  6. Familiar with building apps that use IAPs; both local and server-side receipt validation.
  7. A love for architecting systems, breaking down complicated tasks into distinct solvable components, prioritizing what is important, and providing accurate time estimates.
  8. Iterate quickly and write clear and reusable code.
