About this role: The Senior Account Executive is a field-based, direct sales professional responsible for both client retention and growth through contract expansion and the introduction of new products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consult with C-level executives to develop and implement an effective enterprise-wide strategy that maximizes the value delivered by Gartner's products and services.
- Manage account relationships to achieve increased customer satisfaction, retention, and account growth.
- Maintain mastery and consistent execution of Gartner's sales methodology.
- Develop and manage territory plans to drive sales growth and expand existing client relationships.
- Foster in-depth knowledge of Gartner's products and services to provide consultative guidance to clients.
Requirements:
- 8-15 years of experience in consultative sales, preferably in high technology (services, software, or consultative environment), with evidence of prior success in sales.
- Strong demonstration of intellect, drive, executive presence, and sales acumen.
- Proven experience building excellent client relationships at C-level within large enterprise organizations.
- Knowledge of the full life cycle of the sales process.
- Proficiency in English required.
