Job Title: Construction Project Manager

Position Purpose:

The Construction Project Manager will oversee the execution of construction projects on time, quality, and budget, in accordance with the contract and AutoZone's specifications. This individual will coordinate utility services and external environmental assessors to ensure compliance with local and state regulations. Additionally, they will administer project economics, capitalize on projects on time, and hand over to maintenance according to the designed project.

Primary Accountabilities:

  • Supervise the general construction process of assigned projects, ensuring they are on schedule, quality, and safety, within AutoZone specifications.
  • Coordinate utilities in advance with vendors and general contractors, ensuring they are ready for store opening.
  • Conduct regular meetings with external assessors and general contractors to ensure environmental compliance.
  • Close out and capitalize construction projects.
  • Hand over construction projects to maintenance.
  • Supervise the development of design and construction documents.

Education & Experience:

A bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent in Construction, Design, Civil Engineering, or Architecture is required. More than seven years of experience in construction, architecture, or engineering, with a focus on project management, is preferred. Fluency in English, excellent time management, organization, communication, and computer skills are essential.
