Job Summary:

The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive, and productive maintenance systems.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Install and maintain production machines and departmental equipment
  • Perform emergency unscheduled repairs during production and scheduled maintenance repairs during machine service periods
  • Conduct simple machinist duties and responsibilities
  • Utilize mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic skills for troubleshooting and repair of production machines
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders for required maintenance and service
  • Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report unusual situations to the manager
  • Maintain clean and orderly work areas, adhering to OSHA and company safety regulations
  • Perform all other assigned or needed duties

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • An Associate Degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance is preferred
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience working on Italian (OEM) large format ceramic tile presses
  • Prior experience or proven aptitude for strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and industrial skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Willingness to work on call due to the 24/7 nature of operations
  • Physical ability to lift and move objects up to 75 pounds consistently, with heavier objects possible at times

Location: Loudon, Tennessee
