Job Description
We seek a highly motivated Embedded Software Engineer to participate on our global teams developing Carrier's embedded control products. These solutions require the coordination of cloud, mobile app, and embedded controls technologies. As an Embedded Software Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing and developing firmware for various embedded products, leveraging your expertise in firmware development, new embedded technologies, and IoT domains.

Key Responsibilities
- Developing embedded software in support of Carrier's embedded equipment controls
- Collaborating with engineering functions/disciplines; systems, hardware, validation/reliability, and manufacturing
- Writing special test software for hardware and validation/reliability engineering
- Demonstrating ability to work within a project team
- Balancing responsibilities of sustaining and new product development projects
- Completing prototype and test software development
- Participating in risk identification reviews
- Writing specifications and test plans
- Leading and participating in software inspections and design reviews
- Completing systems integration and software requirements
