Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Global Commodity Expert to join our team. As a key member of our procurement department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sourcing strategies that drive cost savings and improve supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies to optimize costs, quality, and lead times
  • Manage commercial relationships with suppliers, including contract negotiations and asset management
  • Establish and maintain reliable sources of supply to ensure timely procurement of goods, materials, and services
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve the supply base and support production needs
  • Analyze data to drive spend visibility and identify opportunities for supply base optimization
  • Build partnerships with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and facilitate communication between business units, stakeholders, and suppliers
  • Participate in the development, review, and approval of supplier selection methodologies
  • Prepare and execute RFP/RFQs and analyze quotations and bids
  • Conduct research on market dynamics, cost drivers, supplier business models, and historical spend to support negotiations
  • Manage supplier relationships, including communicating risks and opportunities with cross-functional teams

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Industrial Engineering, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in sourcing, materials planning, supplier quality, or related supply chain roles
  • Proven capability using advanced procurement principles with global supply chain management responsibilities
  • Excellent negotiating skills and ability to break down complex issues
  • Strong organization/time management skills and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent English language skills

Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience
