About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team at Hitachi Vantara Corporation. As a key member of our Energy/Transformers division, you will play a critical role in maintaining our world-class operations.

Work Site and Schedule

  • Our facility is located in Reynosa Tamaulipas and requires an individual who can rotate shifts as needed.

  • This is an on-site position that demands flexibility and adaptability.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain facility equipment through corrective and preventive maintenance activities following established work plans, procedures, and manuals.

  • Ensure facilities and service systems meet safety standards by performing regular inspections and maintenance.

  • Complete assigned tasks accurately, document processes, and adhere to relevant procedures.

  • Manage inventory of consumables and spare parts for facility support equipment.

  • Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance on SCI, HVAC, Potable Water, Compressed Air, Office Finishes, and other equipment within the Facilities department's scope.

  • Foster compliance with ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 certifications by adhering to established standards.

  • Provide training and support to internal clients when required.

  • Collaborate with external service providers to resolve technical issues.

  • Meet project deadlines and complete assigned tasks efficiently.

  • Participate in safety brigades and contribute to a safe working environment.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Possess technical or engineering education in Electromechanics, Electrical, Mechanical fields.

  • Hold conversational English skills, with Technical English being a plus.

  • Minimum three years of experience in areas like Fire Systems, HVAC, Compressed Air, Plumbing, minor repairs, Painting.

  • Basic knowledge of low, medium, and high voltage electrical systems.

  • Experience with Water Pumping Systems.

  • Automated systems and controls familiarity.

  • Safety standards for material handling equipment awareness.

  • Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).

  • Knowledge of safety guidelines, their standards, and/or certifications.

  • Ability to interpret electrical diagrams, pneumatic diagrams, and other control software.

  • Capacity to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces; Work at Height Certification preferred.

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

  • Awareness of 5'S system, TPM, ISO principles.

  • Consistently follow company policies and procedures.
