Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Planning and Logistics Specialist Lead to join our team at Johnson & Johnson Medical Devices Companies. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for providing direct master planning support to assigned work centers daily, designing and leading lean models to support business efficiencies and product flow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain master scheduling processes to balance inventory and customer service throughout the value stream in a multi-plant operation.
  • Perform monthly capacity reviews by work center and ensure future sales requirements are evaluated and resources allocated through participation in the S&OP process.
  • Analyze metrics on manufacturing performance, including production performance to schedule and actual inventory to plan.
  • Ensure objectives are met by providing senior management updates on backorder issues, recovery schedules, and executing the recovery process.
  • Lead the integration of new product releases into the production facility, including Life Cycle Management.
  • Follow all company safety policies and other safety precautions within the work area.
  • Comply with safety policies and procedures, as well as Environmental Management System (EMS) responsibilities.
  • Ensure compliance with J&J and EES Records Management Policies for Convenience Information, Records Retention Schedules, Training and Education, Document Hold Notices, Records Cleanout, Inactive Records, and Information Management.
  • Identify and manage projects to institutionalize lean culture throughout the value stream.
  • Responsible for capacity mitigation for products throughout the value stream.
  • Communicate business-related issues or opportunities to the next management level.
  • For those who supervise or manage a staff, ensure that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety, and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable.
  • Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local, and Company regulations, policies, and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Generally, requires (6-8) years related experience in Supply Chain Management.
  • Bilingual: English/Spanish preferred.
  • GMP/ISO knowledge preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills to all levels of the organization.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead critical process improvements.
  • Knowledge of supply chain in an ERP environment.
