Key Accountabilities:

Develop and execute strategic sourcing strategies for assigned commodities, focusing on cost reduction through negotiation, competition leverage, outsourcing, and process improvements.

Gather market intelligence and trends for categories and subcategories.

Identify risks within the commodity and collaborate with stakeholders to mitigate or eliminate them.

Analyze data and develop tools to manage the commodity. Coordinate all strategic sourcing activities for assigned categories, including financial analysis.

Compile aggregate demand for assigned categories across Integer locations to negotiate contracts effectively.

Identify competitive suppliers and build comprehensive supplier knowledge databases.

Explore insourcing and outsourcing opportunities.

Guide internal stakeholders through a systematic commodity approach to material and supplier selection and management.

Promote continuous year-over-year value improvement for quality, service, and cost with assigned supply base.

Manage supplier performance and identify Continuous Improvement Programs to enhance Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).

Maintain optimal balance between collaborative engagement and competitive pressure with the supply base to maximize value realization.

Negotiate supplier agreements and ensure contractually favorable commercial terms with Contract Management and Legal teams.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, quality, supply chain, operations) to determine business needs and drive implementation of the Commodity Strategy Plan.

Apply project management and problem-solving skills to resolve supplier issues and support sourcing strategy execution.

Work closely with Finance and Supply Chain Analytics teams to ensure accurate standards and savings data for assigned categories during budgeting and forecasting processes.

Owning annual budget process for assigned suppliers as well as crisis or systematic issue resolution.

Ensure supplier selection for NPI programs provides lowest total cost, required quality, and delivery levels with minimal risk alignment with Integer's commodity strategies.

Establish early involvement in NPI program sourcing to achieve development performance goals, support project timelines, and manage product cost.

Adhere to Integer's Values and safety, environmental, security, and quality requirements, including Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety, Environmental and Security Management Systems, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, company policies, and operating procedures, and other regulatory requirements.

Requirements & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain management, or equivalent required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Professional certification: CPSM, Six Sigma certification is preferred.

At least 5 years of sourcing/supply chain management experience in multi-location manufacturing-based businesses, preferably medical device, aerospace, or automotive industries.

At least 2 years of commodity management experience, preferably electronics and/or metals.

Specialized Knowledge:

Specific commodity and industry expertise; negotiating and procurement principles.

Special Skills:

Strong negotiation experience and skills.

Project management experience, including root cause analysis, cross-functional mediation, and facilitation.

Demonstrated track record of implementing commodity strategies resulting in significant financial and operational benefits.

Demonstrated cost reduction track record required.

Experience in Medical Device Industry preferred.

Good understanding of how supply chain/sourcing interacts with other functions.

Experience in strategic sourcing approaches, including value chain analysis, cost models, ESI, partnership development.

Direct experience in supplier contract negotiations.

Ability to build supplier relationships at multiple levels.
