About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Distributed Cloud Support Engineer to join our team at F5. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Resolve customer issues in a timely and efficient manner, providing clear and concise documentation of solutions.
  • Collaborate with engineering and Site Reliability Engineers (SREs) to coordinate fixes and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance supportability, reliability, availability, and serviceability.
  • Provide training and enablement to service partners to ensure they can effectively support customer issues.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in an operations environment, with a background in customer service/support and IT, network, or IT security incident management.
  • IT Security or IT Operations experience with corporate customers in production environments.
  • Strong understanding of IT, Network, or IT SOC best practices and a passion for continuous improvement.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Understanding of Networking and Layer 7 Protocols.
  • Familiarity with Container technologies (Docker and Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of Data Representation types (XML, JSON and YAML).
  • Public cloud experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and/or Microsoft Azure.
  • Security product/solutions experience (Firewalls, WAFs, DDoS).
