Job Description:
">This role is responsible for leading the physical security function at two data center facilities, ensuring the safety and security of employees, assets, and infrastructure.
">Responsibilities:
">- Develop and implement physical security strategies to mitigate risks and prevent security breaches.
- Manage security vendors and contractors, overseeing their performance and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, taking corrective action as necessary to prevent reoccurrence.
- Provide training and support to employees on security procedures and best practices.
Requirements:
">- A minimum of 4 years of experience in security operations and/or law enforcement, with a strong background in managing contract security and physical security operation programs.
- Experience with security vendors and contractors, as well as knowledge of Access Control/Intrusion Detection and CCTV Surveillance systems.
- Bilingual (Spanish and English) fluency is required, as well as the ability to travel between facilities within the region.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
">- 2+ years experience in security related documentation/reporting.
- 2+ years experience with LENEL or C-cure systems.
- 2+ years experience with trouble ticket systems for access requests.
- 2+ years experience with investigations including accidents, thefts, disturbances, discrepancies.
- Familiarity with security program automation and implementation.
- Security Certifications such as CPP, PSP, CFI are a plus.
