Drive Continuous Improvement
As a Continuous Improvement Site Lead at Prodensa, you will be responsible for driving a culture of lean improvement and associate involvement. Your key accountabilities will include improving key business metrics such as OTD, productivity, and EBITDA by implementing and supporting lean and continuous improvement activities. You will also be a key participant in creating and implementing site strategy, driving associate engagement and inclusion through active participation in Kaizen activities, and reducing scrap and improving inventory turns. Additionally, you will promote and facilitate workflow analysis and the creation and implementation of standard work to achieve improvement priorities. You will also coordinate and track monthly strategy deployment activities and initiatives in support of meeting business metrics, annual improvement priorities, and key performance indicators. Furthermore, you will drive lead time activities and inventory reduction within the organization, leveraging tools such as NAV and other reporting tools to drive business operational excellence. Finally, you will drive enhancements in daily management, visual management, and 6S methodologies.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree
* 5+ years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with assignments in lean manufacturing/continuous improvement implementation and operations leadership
* Hands-on experience implementing lean in manufacturing and transactional areas
* Experience in aerospace manufacturing with a solid background in metal manufacturing environment, including metal cutting and grinding, highly desirable
* Excellent writing and administrative skills, including computer skills (word processing, graphics, spreadsheet, Minitab, etc.)
* Demonstrated proficiency in time and project management
* Demonstrated ability to teach/train in lean manufacturing and Kaizen tools
* Strong leadership and mentoring skills with proven ability to develop employees
* Team orientation with the ability to influence others
