At Corning, we are seeking a skilled Maintenance Strategist to join our team. As a key member of our industrial maintenance area, you will play a critical role in driving efficiency and reliability across our operations.

About the Role

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.

This is an excellent opportunity to leverage your technical expertise and project management skills to develop and implement maintenance strategies that drive business results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deploy engineering solutions to improve maintenance strategies, preventative maintenance optimization, and other reliability techniques.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of maintenance procedures and adjust as necessary to increase the lifetime of our assets.
  • Analyze equipment performance failure data and corrective maintenance history to inform maintenance decisions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
  • 0-2 years of experience in industrial maintenance area, with a focus on developing maintenance strategies and handling Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  • Strong problem-solving and technical learning skills, with the ability to manage time effectively and communicate complex ideas.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing Management, root cause analysis, and spare parts and tooling management a plus.
