About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Selenium Automation Java Guidewire Tester to join our team in Guadalajara, Jalisco (MX-JAL), Mexico (MX). As a key member of our QA team, you will be responsible for testing and automating the Guidewire Policy/Claims/Billing Center application using Java and Selenium.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop automated test scripts using Selenium and Java
- Test and validate the functionality of the Guidewire Policy/Claims/Billing Center application
- Identify and report defects and issues to the development team
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of automated tests
- Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of QA experience
- Strong expertise in functional testing of Guidewire Policy/Claims/Billing Center application
- Prior experience in Insurance P&C domain is preferable
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Good understanding of automation Selenium in Java Language, best practices, and their applicability
- Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans, and test cases
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
- Excellent documentation and communication skills, self-Driven, and independent
- Experience working in a fast-paced project environment
- Should have good Aptitude/Communication & team handling skills
- Have a 'differentiator' mindset – a practitioner who contributes to asset creation and builds the competency / team
- Have a deep insight into the SDLC and strong understanding of Agile methodologies
- Have proven technical experience in requirement analysis, test strategy and testing activities required to ensure the in-print, integration, and long-term maintenance of applications
- Expertise in Guidewire Policy Center & Billing Center modules
- Experience in insurance industry with exposure in P & C insurance domain with experience in quote policy processing, Underwriting, Billing and Payments
- Experience on Guidewire Billing Center configuration and integration tasks
- Experience in gap assessment of requirements and OOTB functionalities
- Have strong technical skills, both functional and non-functional, Manual and automation in a continuous delivery environment
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks in a challenging environment
- Experience in JIRA/ALM
- Excellent written & spoken English skills
