- Direct workers responsible for measuring and testing product and tabulating data relating to materials, product, or process quality and reliability.
- Compile and write training material and conduct training sessions on quality control activities.
- Ensure the availability and integrity of all quality-related data. Consolidate and report quality results.
- Responsible for the development, implementation, review, and maintenance of quality standards for the processing of materials into partially finished products.
- Design and apply methods and procedures to inspect, test, and evaluate the accuracy and precision of products and/or production equipment.
- Analyze reports and returned products and recommend corrective action.
- Internal and customer communication.
- Engineering or equivalent work experience (metalworking).
- Experience with KPIs (Quality).
- Knowledge of quality tools (8Ds, 5 Whys, Pareto Diagram, etc.).
- Experience with engineering changes.
- Experience with NPI.
- Familiar with FMEA and control plan.
- Knowledge of Soft Tool (Punching, Laser, Bending, Insertion, etc.).
- Good command of Minitab (DOE and SPC).
- Process Control (CP and CPK).
- Advanced English.
