Job Title: Senior Data Engineer GCP

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer GCP to join our team at LAAgencia. As a key member of our data services team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and deploying data pipelines and applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement data architectures on GCP, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines using GCP services such as Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, and BigQuery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and develop data solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex data-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum data availability.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest GCP features and technologies, applying this knowledge to improve our data services.
Requirements:
  • At least 8 years of experience as a Data Engineer, with a minimum of 3 years working with GCP cloud-based infrastructure and systems.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms, including GCP, and experience with data modeling techniques and database optimization.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as SQL, Python, and other scripting languages.
  • Experience with data integration tools and techniques, such as ETL and ELT, and knowledge of database management systems.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working in a multinational environment and willingness to learn new technologies and solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certifications in big data technologies or cloud platforms.
  • Experience with BI solutions, such as Tableau.
  • Experience with Azure cloud-based infrastructure and systems.
  • Experience with ETL tools, such as Talend or Alteryx.
