Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Program Manager to join our team at Flex, a Fortune global 500 company. As a Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for guiding a team of cross-functional experts in the delivery of customer-focused products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize, plan, and direct program schedules and budgets.
- Track relevant metrics and drive action items based on results.
- Provide expertise with contract negotiations as required.
- Oversee interdepartmental activities to ensure completion of product development timelines, delivery, quality, and business metrics.
- Review program proposals or plans to resolve time frames, funding requirements, procedures, staffing requirements, and resource allocation.
- Establish work plans and staffing for each phase of the program and arrange for recruitment or assignment of personnel.
- Manage the coordination of product life cycle activities with profit and loss (P&L) and customer satisfaction.
- Be the key channel of communication for customers and act as an escalation point for customer issues.
- Conduct customer satisfaction reviews and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain current and develop additional business with customers.
- Monitor and track project and program deliverables.
- Be accountable for maintaining excellent customer relations with both new and existing customers.
Requirements:
- BA/BS/MBA or equivalent work experience.
- Fluent English.
- Previous experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) and Sustaining.
- Previous experience in program administration/management or related areas.
- Demonstrated expertise in operations, technical, and people/process skills, as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills.
- Demonstrated detailed expertise in complex functional/technical areas or broad breadth of knowledge in multiple areas.
- Metal mechanical experience is a plus.
