We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Fivek Logistics Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for planning and scheduling truck routes to ensure timely delivery of goods to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and schedule truck routes to optimize delivery times and reduce costs
- Communicate with drivers to confirm schedules and address any issues that may arise
- Address logistical issues such as delays, vehicle breakdowns, and route changes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of logistics operations
- Monitor and analyze logistics metrics to identify areas for improvement
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree or related certification preferred
- Proven experience in a dispatching or logistics role, preferably within the trucking or transportation industry
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and handle unexpected situations with professionalism
