Job Summary

Marriott International is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring washing, dry cleaning, and drying machinery, including adding chemicals and cleaning lint traps. You will also inspect cleanliness of articles removed from the washer, dryer, or dry-cleaning machines and place them in clean linen carts. Additionally, you will set dryers to designated times and temperatures based on fabrics contained in the load, remove lint and debris from dryer screens, dry cleaning filters, and drain trap after each load, and maintain accurate records of items laundered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor washing, dry cleaning, and drying machinery.
  • Inspect cleanliness of articles removed from the washer, dryer, or dry-cleaning machines.
  • Set dryers to designated times and temperatures based on fabrics contained in the load.
  • Remove lint and debris from dryer screens, dry cleaning filters, and drain trap after each load.
  • Maintain accurate records of items laundered.

Requirements

  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift.
  • Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.
  • Ability to move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces.
  • Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
