Job Title: Software Development Quality Assurance Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Development Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our team at Specright. As a QA Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software by designing and implementing robust testing frameworks, identifying and reporting defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the development of innovative solutions that help Fortune 1000 companies reduce costs and improve efficiencies by sharing, analyzing, and auditing specifications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, excellent testing skills, and experience working with automation tools such as Selenium. You will also possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to identify and prioritize testing efforts.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Design and implement robust testing frameworks to ensure high-quality software delivery
  • Identify and report defects using defect tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or Mantis
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve software quality
  • Work with development teams to review unit test cases and ensure code quality
  • Develop and execute test scripts using automation tools like Selenium
  • Test developed processes with external APIs to assess functionality
  • Develop test scripts for performance testing (program logic and verify system flow)

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of experience in software testing, with expertise in unit testing, load testing, and regression testing
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language and its fundamentals
  • Basic knowledge of API testing tools like Postman, SoapUI, etc.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with experience working with stakeholders and technical teams
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively

What We Offer

At Specright, we offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, plus additional benefits and perks. Our compensation package includes:

  • A base salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per year
