About the Role

Insulet Corporation, a leading innovator in tubeless insulin pump technology, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Test Engineer to join our R&D team. As a key member of our software quality assurance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of our software development processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test designs, and test cases to ensure the quality of our mobile applications.
  • Automate testing in mobile applications using iOS and collaborate with the software development team to identify areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to influence requirements definition and software design to maximize testability.
  • Develop and extend protocols and plans as device features evolve, ensuring seamless integration with our product development lifecycle.
  • Participate in product design reviews and contribute to the development of test objects to meet the needs of our testing protocols.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience programming with Python and testing software solutions.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies and testing principles.
  • Experience with automated software test tools, such as SI tool or Appium, is a plus.
  • Proficient in using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Skills and Competencies
  • Experience working with XCode and implementing automated software test tools.
  • Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
