Ford Motor Company is seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our product team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and shipping new features using a range of technologies including Java, Spring Boot, Angular, React, and TypeScript.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Define and design new features using Agile methodologies and practices

• Develop high-quality code using continuous integration, development, and testing

• Develop test plans and execute continuous releases

• Work with cross-functional teams to lead the engineering, development, and coding of complex solutions

• Deliver software craftsmanship principles and share successful implementations

• Develop tools and processes to automate the delivery of new features and capabilities

• Perform installations and customizations of open-source CMS technologies within GCP

**Required Skills**

• Experience developing Java Spring Boot APIs

• Experience with key development and deployment tools (e.g. GitHub, Jenkins)

• Experience developing with Angular and React

• Experience developing with TypeScript

• Experience with varying databases (SQL Server, MongoDB, PostgreSQL)

• Strong written and oral communication skills

• Strong drive for results and ability to work independently

• Demonstrated commitment to quality and project timing

• Experience in creating and executing detailed test plans

**Preferred Skills**

• Experience with Security and Code Quality Tools (e.g. 42 Crunch, Checkmarx)

• Experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. Adobe Experience Manager, SharePoint, Strapi, Magnolia, Drupal)

**Education Requirements**

• Bachelor's degree in an information technology related discipline
