Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Master Scheduler to join our team at Bose. As a key member of our Supply Chain organization, you will be responsible for analyzing demand changes, negotiating with customers, and executing strategies to provide stability to our purchasing activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze demand changes and negotiate with customers to minimize violations and fees
- Participate in strategy meetings to establish agreements and administer them into our SAP and Kinaxis systems
- Review, analyze, and administer engineering changes to ensure our supply plan aligns with demand
- Review, analyze, and administer deviations to ensure our supply plan aligns with demand
- Administrate capacity analysis activities, including capacity projections, head count calculations, and capacity scenarios
- Create solution proposals to improve our processes and present them to management
- Develop or improve current procedures and guidelines
- Coordinate and communicate strategies to planning and purchasing teams, considering current plans and executed changes
- Strong knowledge of software such as SAP, Kinaxis, and Microsoft
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (English - Spanish)
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Thorough understanding of the business and supply chain
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Extremely proficient with production planning systems, such as MRP, MPS, and ERPs
- Bachelor's degree in a related field required
- Five plus years of experience in the position
- Professional certification by the American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS) preferred
