Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Supervisor to join our team at Emerson. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our organization, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance to our leadership team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate effective communication between the plant and shared services centers to ensure seamless financial operations.
  • Act as the primary administrator for AMEX payment policies and procedures, ensuring adherence and timely payment of Federal Taxes.
  • Coordinate the delivery of information for SAT External Audits and prepare/review KPMG Audit reports on a monthly basis.
  • Review the timely payment of all payment obligations to suppliers, fiscal, municipal, state, and federal taxes, insurance, and services.
  • Monitor and analyze reports through NOETIX and Power BI to ensure accurate and timely records within the modules Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Purchase Orders (PO), General Ledger (GL), Fixed Assets (FA), Cost (CST), and i-Expenses (CST).
  • Optimize procedures with the Shared Services Centers in Manila, Costa Rica, and Mexico City to ensure efficient financial operations.
  • Supervise the proper delivery of information for calculation, payment of local taxes, and balance sheet integrations (MEXGAAP) through the Mexico City Shared Services Center.
  • Analyze reports and monthly key information of external audits KPMG and SAT, annual tax return, tax opinion, and transfer pricing.
  • Supervise the proper order and ensure the maintenance of digital files of the Finance area.
  • Supervise and ensure the optimal management of customer collections and payment to suppliers according to credit days.
  • Supervise the electronic accounting in accordance with SAT viewers and requirements of monthly revisions to suppliers and legal representatives.
  • Ensure compliance and adherence to tax law reforms through the Mexico City Shared Services Center.
  • Supervise and/or ensure the proper daily invoicing process in accordance with the export calendar.
  • Supervise direct reports and administer the SharePoint for plant output control.
Requirements
  • Accountant, administrator, or engineer degree
  • English level B2
  • Advanced skills in MS Office
  • Interpersonal and leadership abilities
Preferred Qualifications
  • Desire 2 years shown experience as supervisor or leadership role
