This is an on-site position that requires a strong work ethic and ability to work under tight time constraints.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide detailed development estimates outlining business and technical risks.
• Develop software components to support data enrichment and transformation in high-demand, transactional traffic environments.
• Develop and deploy software incrementally in a potentially shippable process with each iteration.
• Identify and significantly contribute to division initiatives.
• Provide technical and business explanation and justification for architectural, design, and coding approaches.
• Work under tight time constraints.
• Execute thorough unit and integration test cases for developed solutions.
• Regularly update technical teams as to plans, progress, and issues.
• Produce high-quality software following best practices and established standards such as Test-Driven Development (TDD), Pair Programming, and maintaining a code to bug ratio below 10%.
• Plan, design, enforce, and audit policies and procedures that safeguard the integrity of and access to enterprise systems, files, and data elements.
• Develop/maintain and resolve code defects.
• Attend daily team meetings to discuss accomplishments, plans, and blockers.
• Adhere to agile process and defined development standards including technical design specifications (TDS), code reviews, unit, and integration testing.
Requirements:
• At least 6 years of experience in software development.
• Experience in high-demand and transactional traffic environments.
• Knowledge of best practices in software development and established standards.
• On-site position in Guadalajara, Jalisco.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Salesforce development experience.
• Experience with agile development methodologies.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
