Servicios Comerciales Amazon Mexico S. de R.L. de C.V. is seeking a dedicated Relay Operations Center Specialist (ROC) to enhance our Global and Domestic transportation activities. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the efficiency and execution of both Inbound and Outbound line-hauls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor Line Haul operations proactively to identify and mitigate potential challenges.
- Formulate and implement effective service recovery strategies as required.
- Analyze and eliminate root causes of inefficiencies to optimize Amazon's Line haul processes.
- Operate within tight deadlines to fulfill critical business requirements while ensuring service standards are upheld.
- Support ongoing improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing process efficiency and quality.
- Track trailers in real-time, addressing issues or coordinating alternatives as necessary.
- Provide insights to the Scheduling and Line Haul Management team based on operational observations to refine processes and planning.
- Adapt to a dynamic work environment, prioritizing customer needs with empathy.
- Exhibit ownership in resolving complex customer challenges, escalating when appropriate.
- Oversee the weekly scheduling of domestic carriers and make adjustments as needed.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Logistics Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in developing performance metrics and managing partner relationships through corrective actions.
- Basic proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with data interpretation.
- Completed Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Logistics Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management.
- Experience in communicating effectively with diverse audiences, both internal and external.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging across various business sectors in both English and Spanish.
- Proficient knowledge of SQL.
- Familiarity with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) documents and their functionalities.
- Adept at managing and organizing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience within the retail sector.
