This role offers an estimated salary of $140,000 - $180,000 per year, based on location and experience. The position requires a strong background in network architecture and automation, including design, analysis, and planning of local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), intranets, extranets, Cloud AWS and Microsoft Azure data communications networks.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing, analyzing, planning, and modifying Baxter networks and network components supporting data, voice, and/or audio communication activities.
  • Preparing the analysis of short/long-term capacity needs for switching and routing.
  • Providing information for hardware and software selection; and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements.
  • Conducting testing of network systems, firewalls, and cloud security.
  • Maintaining technical expertise in all areas of network and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, switchers, firewalls, wireless controllers, cloud security (ie ZScaler) etc.
  • Evaluating and reporting on new network technologies to enhance capabilities of the network.
  • Creating new automation to streamline network device deployments and reduce repetitive nonvalue deployments.
  • Developing Automation and scripts to monitor network faults and self-heal issues to prevent business impacting network outages.

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications or related field preferred or relevant work experience.
  • 10+ years of network operational and network architect experience.
  • Cisco CCNA or CCIE certification.
