About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Vendor Management Specialist to join our team at PepsiCo Deutschland GmbH. As a key member of our procurement operations team, you will be responsible for leading the vendor management service contracts for our global operations in Latin America.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure service contracts are up to date, aligned with payment to our critical vendors to guarantee business continuity in services such as Incoming Orders, Electronic Invoice, WMS, Palletizing, Labelling, automations, etc.
  • Send necessary information for the supplier to make its monthly and/or annual invoice.
  • Create annual/monthly and/or partial purchase orders during the month.
  • Receive purchase orders from the different suppliers that provide services to PepsiCo.
  • Ensure the validity of contracts.
  • Validate that suppliers upload and/or send their invoices on the PepsiCo portals, as well as manage their registration with the AP team for payment release.
  • Guarantee payment to the provider to maintain service and/or support without interruption.
  • Creation of the annual budget (AOP) annually.
  • Work together with the teams (finance, operation, commercial, procurement, and IT) to identify, propose, prioritize, and guarantee that the supplier complies with the services established in the contract.
  • Accompany suppliers and/or clients in the process of clarifying doubts in order to conclude the purchase/payment process satisfactorily.
  • Define preventive alerts to avoid having financial impacts that affect the operation.
  • Ratify that suppliers adhere to the contracting and payment processes established by PepsiCo.
  • Report and constantly monitor payments made, pending, and in the process of release.
  • Responsible for the Vendor Management process.
  • Actively participate in meetings related to the contracted services.
  • Collaborate and constantly communicate with IT leaders and various teams to streamline processes.
  • Guarantee compliance by suppliers with the contracted services in a timely manner, as well as commitment and willingness to provide a solution if necessary.
  • Backup of any IT support lead that is outside the office.
  • Support for external projects.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of hands-on Legacy applications support in Business Continuity approach to minimizing impacts in business processes like GTM-Operation Enable Function (Finance and HR) processes.
  • 4+ years of related IT business work experience, experience managing a team with the ability to develop teams and cultivate talent.
  • Mandatory 'Technical' Skills: Knowledge of integration points in SD and LE modules and related business processes.
  • Mandatory 'Non-Technical' Skills: Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization. Ability to work flexible hours based on varying business requirements.
