About the Role

As a Tooling Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the execution and management of all Tool Orders requests on time, monitoring project tracking processes to ensure Bombardier requirements. You will also be responsible for ensuring stability for the company and maintaining a high quality standard for customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as project management support within the team, ensuring the execution and management of all Tool Orders requests on time.
  • Monitor project tracking processes to ensure Bombardier requirements.
  • Ensure stability for the company and maintain a high quality standard for customers.
  • Understand the existence and scope of Bombardier systems such as BMS (Bombardier Manufacturing System), Bombardier Manuals (BM's), BES (Bombardier Engineering Systems), QMS (Quality Management System), SMS (Safety Management System), internal regulatory and industry requirements (ISO 9001, QAD, etc.) and competency matrix of the area.
  • Resource planning and budgeting, generating reporting metrics to evaluate project costs within the team and ensuring adherence to planned budgets.
  • Develop and report KPIs for the Tooling team's DMM.
  • Develop Tool inspection reports to confirm compliance with Bombardier requirements for all tooling purchased by the team, identifying improvement processes for suppliers.
  • Participate in the management of purchasing processes and solutions to Tooling team requests, monitoring compliance with Bombardier requirements at all stages of procurement.
  • Compliance with milestones for projects assigned to the Tooling team within established SLA, reporting progress and changes.
  • Communicate pertinent information between Tooling team and Suppliers, seeking to maintain efficient networking for Bombardier.
  • Project portfolio planning, evaluating the demand for proposed projects in the Tooling team.
  • Human resources management for task allocation within the PMO area and management of assigned budget, adhering to Bombardier requirements.
