RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work Order Oversight: Manage the receipt, prioritization, and assignment of work orders to maintenance personnel or external service providers. Ensure that tasks are completed promptly while upholding quality standards.
  • Resource Management: Efficiently allocate resources such as personnel, materials, and tools to meet maintenance needs while adhering to budgetary limits.
  • Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers to acquire estimates, negotiate agreements, and monitor the quality of outsourced maintenance services.
  • Inventory Oversight: Maintain appropriate inventory levels of spare parts, tools, and equipment required for maintenance tasks. Coordinate the procurement and restocking as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Job Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of experience in the facilities management sector.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Facilities Engineering.
  • Prior experience in facilities management or engineering within a manufacturing context.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of building systems and infrastructure, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection systems.
  • Understanding of safety regulations, environmental compliance, and building codes relevant to manufacturing facilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with a capacity to collaborate effectively with internal teams, external contractors, and regulatory bodies.

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Associate's Degree
  • Bachelor's Degree in a business-related or technical field preferred (or equivalent education and experience)
  • Master's Degree
