About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Sales Executive to join our team as a Small & Medium Enterprise Market Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new sales revenue in the Small & Medium Enterprise market segment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to acquire new business in the Small & Medium Enterprise market
  • Build and maintain relationships with key internal partners and senior-level client contacts
  • Lead sales efforts to deliver multiple revenue streams and further penetrate accounts
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of clients' business drivers, organizational culture, and competitive position
  • Research the marketplace and competitor products to highlight the value of GBT's offerings
  • Improve the American Express Global Business Travel value proposition through policy consultation, technology road mapping, and optimizing online solutions
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of business development experience
  • SaaS sales experience highly preferred
  • Hunter mentality in identifying new potential opportunities
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to handle objections
  • Highly articulate written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to quickly learn and articulate key product and value proposition knowledge
  • Proficient in SalesForce.com and Microsoft Office Suites
