Observability Specialist

We are looking for a skilled Linux Kernel Developer to join our team at Canonical. As part of this role, you will work on developing a cloud-native monitoring stack that provides best-in-class open-source monitoring tools. Your expertise in Python and/or Go will be instrumental in creating a robust monitoring stack that ensures deep insights into the system's performance.

This exciting opportunity involves collaborating with a globally distributed team to create new features, debug issues, and interact with the vibrant community. You will have the chance to represent Canonical and the Charmed Observability Stack at conferences, promoting our innovative solutions.

About the Role: We are looking for a skilled software engineer passionate about open source software, Linux, Kubernetes, and Observability. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's or equivalent degree in Computer Science, STEM, or similar field and possesses strong Python development skills.
