Citigroup Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Credit Portfolio Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Credit & Portfolio Risk Management team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to a team of employees to monitor the Citi portfolio and identify credit migration in coordination with the Risk Management team.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the development of new techniques, improvement of processes and work-flows by applying in-depth disciplinary knowledge and integrating subject matter and industry expertise.
- Develop recommendations to adjust credit policies by analyzing credit and financial performance and utilizing statistical scoring, segmentation, and regression and simulation techniques.
- Utilize Statistical Analysis System (SAS) in a UNIX environment to perform risk, financial and data analyses including profiling, sampling, reconciliation, and quality testing.
- Research customer and/or management queries using risk systems and data and support ad-hoc risk policy analyses and projects, as required.
- Participate in developing, testing, and optimizing credit policies, ensuring consistency and regulatory compliance, and assist in the implementation of those policies, processes and other related initiatives.
- Manage risk levels for the entire credit spectrum across multiple products and retail formats and prepare risk management presentations for senior management.
- Avoid or mitigate risks by identifying and addressing potential issues before they become major problems.
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in credit risk management or a related field.
- Proven ability to apply credit and risk principles toward business goals.
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize, prioritize and drive results with urgency.
- Proven organizational, interpersonal and analytical skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of SAS or SQL programming and MS Office software.
- Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
- Track Cards and PILs portfolios by monitoring risk and profitability indicators to find growth/mitigation opportunities.
- Develop rigorous analytics to formulate, test and resolve hypotheses regarding various risk profiles.
- Use data visualization and presentation skills to communicate results to stakeholders effectively.
- Extract and analyze P&L data to make informed decisions based on our Risk Decision Framework.
- Generation of reports on products, strategies or segments on a periodic basis.
- Validate that risk acquisition policies are applied correctly.
- Analytical and strategic thinking, able to identify problems challenges and find solutions effectively.
- Medium to advanced English skills.
- Lic. Acturía, Matemáticas aplicadas o a fin.
- Lenguajes de programación SAS o SQL.
- Experiencia en riesgo de crédito.
- Experiencia en programación o análisis de bases de datos.
