As a Process Safety Engineer at Kiewit Mexico, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and integrity of our industrial processes. Your expertise will be instrumental in identifying and mitigating process safety risks, developing and implementing policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
Key responsibilities include:
* Conducting or participating in process hazard analysis (PHA) studies, including HAZOP, What-If, and FMEA.
* Developing passive and active fire protection, fire and gas detection, and safety design.
* Performing risk assessments and providing recommendations for process safety improvements.
* Ensuring compliance with local and international process safety regulations and standards.
* Collaborating with project teams to identify and evaluate process safety hazards.
* Participating in incident investigations and providing recommendations for prevention.
Requirements:
* Minimum of 4 years of experience in process safety engineering.
* In-depth knowledge of process safety regulations and standards (e.g., OSHA, NFPA, API, etc.).
* Experience conducting process hazard analysis (PHA) studies.
* Experience teaching and leading junior engineers.
* Upper Intermediate English B2.
