As a Purchasing Manager, you will:

  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies to achieve organizational goals.
  • Manage and direct the purchasing operations of the organization.
  • Negotiate substantial procurement contracts, ensuring optimal terms and conditions.
  • Create and enforce policies regarding the acquisition of goods and services.
  • Streamline supplier relationships and focus on total cost of ownership across functions.
  • Examine spending categories to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Ensure adherence to commercial and technical specifications.
  • Guide, inspire, and develop team members to maintain high operational standards.
  • Conduct procurement activities to align with project cost, timeline, and quality objectives.
  • Evaluate and negotiate with suppliers to secure superior service quality and terms.
  • Regularly assess project procurement strategies for effectiveness and relevance.
  • Lead a team of 1-5 individuals.

Your Profile

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Buying or Procurement, preferably in the Automotive and Manufacturing sectors.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills with a proven ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Adept at mentoring and coaching, fostering high-performing teams.
