Job Summary

This role involves mastering cutting-edge technologies and communicating technical solutions effectively to both engineers and business personnel. Collaborate with our engineering team to develop final product solutions within time and cost constraints.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior or lead design engineers in developing processes for software requirement analysis and documentation, design documentation, and requirements management.
  • Collaborate with senior or lead design engineer to provide document control with a complete design package consisting of requirements and design documentation, source code, and executables.
  • Participate in all aspects of design engineering, including design reviews and verification.
  • Follow established engineering department design flow processes and procedures.
  • Contribute to identifying and mitigating technical project risks, dependencies affecting overall project plans and schedules.
  • Work concurrently with Business Unit Management, Manufacturing, Test, Purchasing, Quality, and other key departments through the design phase of a program.
  • Support production discrepancies by incorporating fixes into subsequent revisions in a timely manner.
  • Direct Technicians on associated projects.
  • Oversee assembly and test of engineering prototypes.
  • Assigned to projects of diverse scope, where analysis of situation or data requires an evaluation of identifiable factors.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with Real-Time Operating Systems.
  • Understanding of cross-development concepts and issues related to developing for different target environments.
  • Comprehension of Software Configuration Management principles.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Capacity to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Effective presentation skills to convey information to groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Mathematical skills to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Able to interpret extensive technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with various abstract and concrete variables.
