Product Assurance Manager

Job Description
As a key member of the Product Assurance department at CS GROUP, you will be responsible for setting up and adapting project-specific product assurance plans according to customer requirements. This involves coordinating planned measures with internal and external customers, implementing agreed requirements in the project, and leading the internal product assurance team. You will also define product assurance requirements for subcontracts and review/approve the resulting plans. Additionally, you will monitor subcontractors in the implementation of these requirements and accept their deliveries and services. Your tasks will also include coordinating/product assurance tasks during development and production in-house and with subcontractors, as well as setting up and approving relevant product assurance documents.
Responsibilities
- Set up and adaptation of project-specific product assurance plans according to customer requirements;
- Coordination of planned measures with internal and external customers;
- Implementation of the agreed requirements in the project;
- Leading the internal product assurance team and coordinating the relevant technical experts;
- Definition of product assurance requirements for subcontracts and review/approval of the resulting plans;
- Monitoring of subcontractors in the implementation of these requirements and acceptance of their deliveries and services;
- Coordination / implementation of product assurance tasks during development and production in-house and with subcontractors;
- Coordination / execution of inspections and monitoring of test activities in-house and at subcontractors;
- Set up and approval of the relevant product assurance documents;
- Supporting the quality management officer in the further development/optimization and implementation of the company's internal quality management system.
Requirements
- Degree in physics, electronics, computer science, aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering or a comparable degree or professional expertise plus extensive training;
- 5 to 10 years of project experience in aerospace projects or projects of comparable complexity preferably as lead PA Manager in ESA satellite projects;
- Interest or experience in working with extensive requirements documents and standards;
- High negotiation skills, used to develop and make decisions;
- High sense of responsibility;
- Independently, proactive, structured and goal-orientated working method;
- Team-orientation and excellent communication skills;
- Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of German or another European language is an advantage.
