As a key member of the Brightcove team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our web properties. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will design, develop, and maintain cutting-edge web solutions that align with our business goals. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on high-impact projects, influence the user experience, and contribute to the growth of an industry leader.

This position is an individual contributor reporting into the Manager, Web Development. Your responsibilities will include leading continuous architecture improvements, driving new features from end-to-end, and collaborating with other developers on features, architecture, designs, time & budget estimates, and test strategies.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead continuous architecture improvements to accommodate growing demand and increasing system complexity.
- Drive new features from end-to-end through prototyping, validation, implementation, launch, and continuous iteration.
- Review and collaborate with other developers on features, architecture, designs, time & budget estimates, and test strategies. Ensure code quality, performance, and adherence to best practices.
- Establish and maintain a strategy to monitor system uptime and functionality.
- Partner across different functional teams within the Marketing department, including Marketing Operations, Product Marketing and Design, to consistently deliver projects.

**Requirements**
- BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience required.
- Profound knowledge of web technologies, encompassing the DOM, web security, cloud hosting, asynchrony, and performance optimization.
- Experience working with Headless CMS, preferably Contentful.
- Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Highly adaptable and comfortable in a fast-paced, transformative, and results-driven SaaS software environment.

**Preferred**:

Experience with Contentful.
- Up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, recommend new tools and approaches to enhance development processes.
- Experience working within B2B SaaS software environment.
