Master Production Planner

In this dynamic role as a Master Production Planner at Jabil Circuit, you will be responsible for overseeing all planning activities within your assigned workcell. This includes mentoring the Production Planners and Document Coordinators in the workcell to ensure seamless execution.
Key Responsibilities- E nsure 100% on-time delivery by closely monitoring production schedules and making necessary adjustments
- Establish build readiness by accurately forecasting material needs and maintaining efficient capacity utilization
- Maintain accurate revenue forecasting and reconcile the Master Production Schedule (MPS) with customer Purchase Order (PO) coverage on a weekly basis
- Develop and load MPS into Jabil's ERP system, ensuring that Jabil is not exposed beyond customer PO coverage or authorized demand
- Own production planning, Bill of Materials (BOM), and document control processes
- Analyze material and capacity requirements, communicating constraints to the Workcell and customers based on accurate customer demand
- Meet daily with the Workcell and manufacturing team to assess production schedules, optimize run quantities, and minimize changeovers to achieve 100% on-time delivery
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of customer contracts, including liability terms and conditions regarding material planning and production scheduling
- A Bachelor's degree and APICS certification are required; Supervisor experience and thorough knowledge of MRP are preferred
- 8 years of experience in Planning Activities, with at least 1.5 years as a Master Planner, or an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience
We offer a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus benefits.
