About the Role

The Global Security Operations team at Servicios Comerciales Amazon Mexico S. de R.L. de C.V. plays a critical role in providing timely support and notification to global partners regarding incidents that have impacted, or have the potential to impact, Life Safety, Operations, and/or the Amazon Brand.

As the Inventory Control and Network Losses Program Manager, you will be responsible for protecting life-safety, ensuring operational continuity, and preserving the Amazon brand globally. You will use technology, thoroughly-vetted procedures, and best practices that exceed industry standards to achieve excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Investigation Strategy Management: Develop and implement a world-class investigation strategy across Amazon Mexico Supply Chain.
  2. Investigation Standards Design: Design investigation standards aligned with global standards and ensure compliance.
  3. Training and Liaison: Train loss prevention field members and serve as a liaison to standardize shrink reduction mechanisms.
  4. Support to Loss Prevention Team: Support the Loss Prevention team, including data interpretation, trending analysis, and overall department initiatives.
  5. Product Loss Investigation: Initiate, develop, and resolve product loss associated with all Amazon sites in the format assigned to.
  6. Casework Development: Develop casework through analytics, surveillance, testing, and proven investigative tactics.
  7. Investigation Management: Manage multiple investigations simultaneously while prioritizing and partnering with location resources to effectively identify and close incidents of theft.
  8. Investigative Metrics Enhancement: Enhance, track, and report on investigative metrics which are key performance indicators allowing performance improvements to achieve desired outcomes.
  9. Internal and External Theft Investigation: Assist with investigations of internal and external theft and fraud and conduct interviews when appropriate.
  10. Security Best Practices: Identify, promote, and implement security best practices in a designated delivery center.
  11. Stakeholder Partnership: Effectively partner with internal customers in evaluating current and future security services, processes, and initiatives.
  12. Data Collection and Analysis: Coordinate data collection through database polling or data entry from multiple DC; and conduct analysis generating strategic and tactical interpretations.
  13. Cross-Functional Assistance: Provide cross-functional assistance to different stakeholders through Amazon's Supply Chain.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of program or project management experience
  • 3+ years of working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
  • 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
  • English B2+
  • 3+ years of driving end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
  • 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
