Your Role at Baxter GlobalAs a Principal Engineer, R&D, you will provide technical contribution within an area of expertise to lead requirement, analysis, detailed design, and verification activities for an assigned product, project, or solution. You will also provide mentorship to other specialists on their technical issues, engage in design reviews, and help resolve problems of medium complexity.
Key Responsibilities- Identify technical problems and provide innovative, creative solutions; share technical knowledge with the team.
- Incorporate business, market, industry, and competitive knowledge into technical solutions that can be readily adapted to changes in technology and/or clinical use.
- Generate alternatives and take reasonable risks while solving technical problems.
- Complete detailed, high-quality user documentation to collect and communicate designs.
- Seek knowledge of the market and driven environment.
- Use existing tools and standard methodologies to report and supervise product and process metrics.
- Challenge project teams and established work processes and proactively find creative methods to reach desired performance levels.
- Advise others proactively about developments or issues that affect their work and their ability to meet commitments.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in engineering or local equivalent of same.
- 5 to 7 years of proven experience.
- Ability to generate alternative solutions to problems or processes.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with others in a team environment.
- Ability to adapt to change.
